This does not make much sense but has happened on 2 different computers. Video running fine within a presentation. Client wants a copy of PPT including video. I burn a disc or copy it to a flash drive and after that the video will not run on my machine in PPT, it will still run in Windows Media Player, just not within PPT.
Yes I checked all of the paths just as a normal troublershooting step in case something weird happened while copying the video. This does not concern the directory path. Like I said nothing changed except that the video was copied to a flash drive. I forgot to mention that instead of playing the whole screen goes white.

Maybe you can use a tool that can convert PPT to DVD ,then your video will be included in the PPT on the CD disc. You can play the powerpoint conveniently everywhere.

Visit its site if you interest in it.

Good Luck.

Did you check what path the movie is pointing to in the powerpoint presentation? Open presentation, right click on the image of the movie, left click on 'edit movie object'. There should be a path name at the bottom of the pop up box. If it's not right, you can click on the movie and delete it. Then try to insert the movie again.
